For a large international retailer Your Professionals is currently searching for a coordinator Payroll . The person is in charge of making sure the company’s associates are paid accurately and on time. The Coordinator Payroll also coordinates related requirements of Government agencies such as social security administration and tax authorities. The culture is informal but very professional. 
In this position the Coordinator Payroll will work closely with the Human Resources Department (HR) and Payroll Accounting (GL) on all payroll related issues. The main responsibilities of this position are:
• Collecting and audit the payroll data received from the field to ensure integrity and compliance to Company Policy;
• Preparing weekly payments for terminated associates;
• Planning, managing, controling and providing accurate salary information to our external payroll processors;
• Audit the payroll information submitted back by the external payroll processor. Review computed wages and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of earnings. Ensure that all changes to  payroll are processed correctly;
• Preparing accurate and timely salary related wires and payments;
• Responding to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters on a high service level;
• Generating reports and provide personnel information for control purposes in general;
• Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley guidelines;
• Keep HR, Payroll Accounting and Operations up to date with changes in social security/taxes, wages and tax requirements.
For this challenging position we are looking for candidates with at least 2 relevant working experience in a similar position. Besides this you have knowledge of Social Security, Tax and Employment legislation and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Finally you are fluent in english and have an intermediate to advanced level of French. PeopleSoft would be an advantage.
