Revenue Manager (Destination)

 
The Revenue Manager (Destination)  will be part of the Pricing Revenue Management team of Center Parcs Europe and will be responsible for maximizing the yield performance of the cottage rental of the Center Parcs  and SunParks villages. The revenue management tactics and strategies will partially depend on the forecasting results from the Revenue Manager (Destination).
Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Maximizing the net rental revenue per arrival at the village and cottage type level in the assigned regions by applying detailed forecasting techniques.
  • Constantly monitor the booking paste of all individual cottage types taking into account, among other variables, the selling price per channel, discounting levels within a specific leadtime range, price elasticity and cannibalization estimations. Based upon these findings recommendations will be made in the area of volume focus, maximum discounting levels, and channel restrictions to the revenue management team on which the strategic and tactical promotions will be based.
  • On a village level optimizing the last minute demand through price setting on a cottage type level.
  • Ensure the availability of a clearly defined plan, including different scenarios on a village and cottage level basis, which will lead to reaching the net rental revenue budget.
  • Work closely together with the Pricing Analysts to initiate dynamic pricing actions and supply insights which can result in structural price changes.
  • On a continuous basis presenting and discussing the results of the analysis with the revenue management team in order to initiate actions and communicate important focus points.
  • Actively work with other team members, share market experience and perform data analysis

Requirements

  • University level degree in Business, Economics, Management Science or in a similar quantitative area or any equivalent combination of relevant background, skills, and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 to years experience involving pricing, revenue management, and data analytics/reporting in a dynamic commercial company (Car Rental, Hotel, Telecom or Airline)
  • Excellent working knowledge of a data querying tools such as Cognos or Business Objects.
  • Advanced level Excel skills to create complex formulas, scenarios and pivot tables.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English, a third language is preferred.
  • Knowledge of travel, leisure industry is preferred.

Besides this you must have excellent analytical, problem-solving and collaborative skills. You are detail oriented, and possess excellent decision-making abilities even under uncertainty. You have the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities is in your daily routine.
